Coastal Carolina University’s head cheerleading coach was arrested Sunday and remains jailed pending a bond hearing, according to authorities.

Elizabeth Hadley Appenzeller, 31, of Conway was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 3:20 p.m. Sunday on charges of resisting arrest and public disorderly/public intoxication, according to jail records. She remains jailed pending a bond hearing.
