Elite Providence recruit Ricky Ledo ruled ineligible

The Providence renaissance is now officially on hold. Ricky Ledo, the top-10 recruit expected to help ignite a resurgence, was declared ineligible by the NCAA on Wednesday night.
Ledo, a 6-5 guard from Providence, was ruled a partial qualifier. That means he will be allowed to attend Providence and practice with the Friars this year but will not be able to play in games. Ledo drew the attention of investigators after attending five high schools in four years.
