actually, the dolphins will suck because they're using one of the most overated QBs to come along in a long time.

Don't Hate on the Phin's. I was very sceptical when they went for Culpepper instead of Brees but after seeing him play (granted preseason is not always a good indicator) I am starting to come around. Whether or not he has a breakout year, he has already done one great thing. He has brough excitement back to Miami Football. Both the fans and the players alike are eager to see where this season is going to go. I think they can win 11 games this year and challege the Patsies for the division. With that said, I think next year, not this is when they will make a legitimate run at the Superbowl.

In my fantasy team I have Ronnie Brown, and Pitt's D. So, hopefully Ronnie will run up the yards, and Daunte won't be able to do anything

well i am not sure if I agree, but he is a lot better then anything they had last year and they finished 9-7....so I don't see how they couldn't improve....
if Culpepper is over rated is Steve Mcnair over rated too??? Very similar....Culpepper isn't the greatest QB in history, but he is a solid QB

I'm really not sure about McNair. He was deserving of Co-MVP a couple of years ago but hasn't done much since because of injury. So who knows if he still has it? I tend to think he doesn't. He won't last 5 weeks with his injury problems combined with the Raven's O-line so I doubt we'll ever know.

i am going to apologize to you, after tonights performance Culpepper RIGHT NOW is an average QB at best...i think he had a 2 or 3 year stretch where he did a great job...that is behind him now....as a Dolphin fan I was looking at those 2-3 years where he did a great job, and hoping that is the guy that showed up...well its not....I found myself asking for Joey Harrington....Joey freaking Harrington....you know thats rough...hopefully it was just the incredibly Pittsburg defense....but i know the truth....he had no zip in those passes, it was sad to watch reallly...so again i apologize for coming out and say you are wrong.....please forgive
Signed,
Peeved Dolphin fan

easy dolphin fan. when you start asking for joey, you have a problem. culpepper will do just fine....it is only game one against a good defense. you guys will be in the mix in the AFC east.
Manning vs Manning

have you guys heard the news!?!? Eli and Peyton are going to be playing against each other on sunday! I hope they make a documentary about it. I wish NBC would have let us know everyday for the past 3 months. Then this wouldn't have snuck up on me. I'm throwing a manning party at my house this sunday. Everybody here is invited. It will be great seeing a shot of the parents after every single play. Go Mannings!

cpep is rusty....don't worry....he'll find his stroke...he was off the hook in the 2nd quarter and looked phenominal....he pressed in the 4th and made some bad throws....chambers also should of had that one in the endzone...

yeah i guess i was going a little overboard....but still i was expecting more from him....I think i was more disappointed with the defense then anything, this was at Pittsburg offense without freaking Big Ben...oh well
Sunday night football.

Are we all in agreement that NBC has one of the worst introduction songs ever? It's the one with that chick who looks like she's married to Ivan Drago. It makes me long for "are you ready for some football" which is not that great itself. They played it last week and I thought maybe they were gonna have a different song every week but it was there again last night.

Yes, it's safe to say that Pink's song is the suck.

I'm hoping they are rotating musicians each week because that was a mega-lame Joan Jett ripoff.

Wow you guys are rough. I wasn't overwhelmed but I didn't mind the song. As for the game production. It looks just like Monday night football has the past few years with Madden and Michaels, right down to the way the players introduce themselves. No horse trailer POG though right? Or are they doing that too....Can we stop talking about Carolina and the Super Bowl now? Sheesh. I have said for years they are not that good! Eagles looked sharp and if Minnesota wins tonight, we will be in 1st Place! Ok so it's early. Let me have some fun.

I hated the song. I'm surprised that it was what they came up with in their meetings. Pink can't be proud.
Yeah Scar, they are done with the horse trailer but now they have a sponsor and they are doing some trophy-type of thing. Everyone has gone corporate

I think you're gonna need to get used to that. The real question is, how will you feel when the Bengals put up 40+ on the Browns?

or

or

or possibly

No. They really really really blew it on Sunday, but I'm not giving up that easily.

Scorcho, I am not talking about Fans. We all should feel like we have a chance for the big game at this stage (except Packer fans yeeesh). I am talking about the football experts. That is not a Super Bowl team IMO. They are a good team but there have been teams that even in Sept you know they will be in the Big game like Terrel Davis and the Broncos or Tom Brady and the Patriots. The Panthers are not close to that status but they seem to get that treatment.

The Panthers are a COMPLETELY different team without Steve Smith on the field. That one player alone opens up the run game and passing game.

Edit: never mind...ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!
