I looked this up the other day because other than one year Maryland did it, I couldn't remember anybody but Duke or UNC winning it.
In the last 15 years, 14 of them were won by Duke or UNC. Now it's 14 of 16. Real competitive conference.

FSU has been threatening to become respectable in basketball for a few years now. Good to see them finally come through when it matters. Proving their wins against UNC and Duke earlier in the year were not flukes. They are a good team and could make some noise. Though they will have some challenges in their bracket

And in 10 of those 15 years, one of those two teams made the Final Four, & they combined for 4 National Championships. So, it's not like it's a fluke for them to get there. Can't really knock the rest of the conference when there are two teams consistently that strong.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how much easier it is to win 4 rounds in a row when the first 2 are at home every year.
Has Duke ever played outside of Greensboro? Certainly nothing even close to being sent West.

dook - 4 F4, 2 Titles, same d-bag for a coach
LUconn - that has been because of the new pod system thing they created back in '02.

That is a good point. I haven't followed as much this season, but isn't UNC playing in Greensboro this weekend?
Back to FSU...They are a pretty good team and I hope they make it far. Im also pulling for UConn knocking out UK
