I'm headed to Austin Saturday to cover the college footbal game of the year. I grew up in Ohio a big Buckeye fan. But I've got stronger allegiances now to the Longhorns. No matter what the outcome, I fully intend to have a great time in DKR-Memorial Stadium Saturday. I'll be hanging out on the sideline.

How will
Tarell Brown's arrest affect the game?

Probably not much since I suspect Mack won't suspend him until after this week's game if history is any indiciation. What a circus over in Austin today. How stupid can kids be?

Bringing the Diet Dew smack, eh Smoothie?
OSU's greatest strength is its speed on offense .... UT has its tenacious defense.
OSU's biggest question mark is all the new faces on defense ... UT has its freshmen QBs
The strengths go head-to-head as do the unprovens. That's part of what makes this so intriguing. Of course the willingness of the two schools to schedule each other in an area where margin of victory helps decide national championships shows these schools mean business.

I will definitely miss this game. I was feeling bad about that at first, but who cares! I'll be wearing red and supporting our Flames!

If I said it once, I said it a thousand times. TIVO.

Yeah scar, but some of us young folk, like myself, can't afford tivo yet. Plus, it's never as good as watching it real time.
Snake Oil at it again

Tres Mack finally did the right thing and suspended the two players...Tarell Brown and Tyrell Gatewood. I'm suprised that he suspended Brown since he's a starter. Also, Sly you know DeLoss is steaming at the APD for this getting out in the public without "dealing with this in the family". Oh by the way, my pick is OSU 21 t.u. 20 on an failed two point conversion.

Mack took the high road. Did I just say that?
Seriously, I actually thought he might let them play until the investigation was complete. Its good to see he's putting integrity in front of winning. But I still think they'll win Saturday.

I understand JC. However if you don't hear the score, you can watch it like it is in real time and you really don't know the difference at all. The shelf life is short though. After the Winthrop/Liberty game last season, I went home and watched the Eagles/Seahawks. Too bad we lost 41-0 but you get my point. For me it was like watching it live....I think Texas will still win on Saturday.
