Not a Redskins fan here. I hope the Redskins get him.

Please Vikings Please! We are always a QB away from being any good.

I'll take him for the Redskins. Draft a good QB and let him learn under Manning. But that makes too much sense. Never mind.

I would hate for Rex Ryan to be confused with anything other than a slobby loser. No to the Jets.

Maybe there's a reason I'm not thinking of, but I don't know why nobody talks about the 49ers. They're the perfect fit for Manning, and their window to win is now.

Im a Rams fan so I dont have a dog in this fight (Still hoping that the Rams get Justin Blackmon and Sam Bradford gets healthy) but Manning would be a good teacher for RG3 so Id think the Redskins should make a play for the #2 pick, draft him, sign Manning to a 1-2 year deal and then they could have a dynamic as jbock suggests

Mannings behavior is not conducive to being a tutor for a young QB. He wants to take EVERY snap, practice, games, Madden, whatever. A young QB needs reps to get better. They won't get reps with Manning.

My guess is they go after Flynn.
I'd love to have Manning on the Skins but I'm guessing he's either going to sign with Arizona (if they can get out from underneath the Kolb contract) or the Jets.
I agree the 49ers would be a great choice but I don't know how they could get away with it especially after Smith came within a few snaps of the Superbowl last year.

I want him on the Vikings.
I wouldnt mind him staying in the conference with Jacksonville or Texans.

The 49ers are the first team I thought of as well. That said, I selfishly hope it's the Redskins.

It will not be the 49rs.
Manning and Alex Smith have the same agent, and Jim Harbaugh will not give up the total control of the offense that Manning will require.

Really? Because we keep hearing about Andrew Luck and his ability to dictate the offense on his own. And I don't think Manning is that controlling, that's just how the Colts evolved. I think every coach wants a guy who can call his own plays. It's the coach's offense, but the QB who runs it.

He is. According to anyone that has ever been around him.

This is true - but you can't argue with his track record. If somebody wins as often as he does with a team that consistently has one of the worst defenses in the league - I hand him the keys to the offense and let him have at it. Shoot you probably could save money by not hiring a big name Offensive Coordinator.

Which Rex Ryan would love in New York!

I forgot that Manning replaced Harbaugh in Indy in '98. Boy, that would be awkward.

So Denver or Arizona?
While I'd love to see him with a decent defense - the thought of him and Fitzgerald together just is too good...

Supposedly Team Peyton is meeting with Bud Adams here in Houston. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Bud would be interested.

Him and Davis could be appealing too. Not only that, but then he gets revenge on Irsay and Co. twice in one year.
I know he's not that kind of a guy - but you have to admit it would be pretty enticing for anyone to go back to the stadium that you helped build and beat the team that cut you.
