For 5 hours I care about NASCAR. Then I don't for a whole 'nother year.
I can't wait to see Danica crash again. She may be a descent driver, but she sure as heck ain't a good one.

I'll wait for IndyCar/F1 where drivers have to actually be able to turn right more than twice a year.

i made a valiant attempt to watch nascar for approximately 1 season. i'm not a huge car buff but i've been a 4x4 and muscle car guy for the longest time and know my way around a garage and this did absolutely nothing for me.

I wonder if Danica Patrick would feel more comfortable driving a Dodge Caravan

But seriously, it's disgusting what she does to sell herself. Yeah it's the free market, yeah it's her life, but I despise it. She's not even that great of a driver!!
But everyone will say she is... just because she's a woman.

BRUTAL wreck during the caution tonight. I'm seriously doubtful if they're going to get this restarted -- flaming jet fuel tends to do a number on asphalt tracks.

Seriously? Man, I was just thinking the exact opposite yesterday after watching PTI and wearing the mechanic shirt. I'm not suggesting her to wear the attire from the Godaddy commercial but man, look a little less manly please!

I honestly don't watch all her interviews so I don't know lol
Only fitting this wreck would involve Juan Pablo Montoya. Even though obviously it wasn't his fault.

Actually fuel and fuel vapors tend to burn off the surface pretty quickly. wouldnt be shocked if there's no substantial damage to the track at all. The bigger issue would be thermal damage /radiant heat impingement from the truck and trailer fire. You get metal heated up that hot and it really transfers heat. Esp from the fram/rims sitting directly on the track.
Just glad the driver was ok (evidently).

I just roll my eyes every time some idiot guys out there says she's attractive. I guess it's desperation at its finest.

She's not exactly my ideal woman, but to say she's completely unattractive would be

She might be a 6 out of 10 if you haven't seen a woman in 10 years. Maybe. Then there's the whole 1 racing win in 13 years despite being given every break possible and routinely being gifted a ride with a top team. I can't wait to see the highlights when she gets in a drivers face like she did in IndyCar and the yokel punches her right in the throat.
There are talent female drivers. There are attractive female drivers. There are some who are both. Danica is neither.

Like her methods or not she makes people money and will continue to do so by creating buzz. Its the American way these days.

I have avoided being a fan of NASCAR for a while. Looks like the streak ends this year. I am interested in NASCAR. My suggestion to all the NASCAR folks is to have big races on Week night prime time. Monday night was perfect.
I especially enjoyed the segment called "Crank it up" . The announcers didnt speak, and they gave you several sounds of the race track.
Now I just need to find a few drivers I like.

cheer for Danica Patrick just to tick off all the other NASCAR fans. I think that is what I would do if I could get into it, haha
