Anybody else getting a kick out of this Lin-sanity? He's a devout Christian who has discussed studying to be a pastor. Somebody at LBTS needs to be getting with him soon.
I love watching the Chinese-American community get behind a kid like Jeremy. Yao was Chinese playing in America. Jeremy is All-American from Taiwanese immigrant parents. This is a really cool story.
Oh yeah, I still have no love for the Knicks. I'd love to see him wind up down here in Houston.

There is no chance they will cut him again anytime soon. With Melo out, here's their top draw right now.

It's been a lot of fun watching Lin put up the type of numbers that he has been. I saw a tweet yesterday that he was the first player since LeBron to put up 20+ points and 8+ assists in his first two NBA starts. Crazy!

I had no idea who this guy even was until yesterday. All this time New York fans thinking Carmello/Amare would save them and they could have turned to this guy all along!!
Couldn't happen to a less deserving franchise. Its been run terribly for years and somehow they thought Carmello would save them. I know of a team in Orlando that needs a decent PG...just syain

I only saw his highlights from last night. The reverse with the left hand finished brought a tear to my eye.
Lin 'Tebow' anyone?

Skip Bayless did an "All he does is Lin" bit already today. The Tebow comparison has already happened

And what shred of credibility you had went completely out the window with that comment...

Kyle Lowry is better
When he's on the floor. He can't seem to stay healthy right now. And frankly I'd rather Kyle simply be a scorer rather than a playmaker.

If he (Lowry) can get better, I think itd be a good matchup it sounds like.

Let's no get carried away... Lin is still the guy who has been waived several times and only three games in to his current streak.

Maybe the NBA Kurt Warner?

Kyle Lowry is considered one of the major All-Star snubs. Jeremy Lin didn't even deserve a sniff.

He's only missed two games this year, only missed seven last year. You act like he is a poor man's Greg Oden and missing significant chunks of every season.
And you would rather have a PG be a scorer that is shooting just 40.6% this year but dishing out 8 assists per game (which, by the way, is the 7th best mark in the league)? Well that's just illogical

One on one, Lowry would eat Lin alive because Lin doesn't even attempt to play defense and Lowry is one of the best defensive PGs in the league. As good as Lin has been on offense in this three game spurt, he's been just about as equally bad defensively.
He came in to a perfect situation to put up big numbers, especially given the competition being New Jersey, Utah (a team that can't defend guards whatsoever), and Washington. In two of the three games, the best player for the Knicks not named Lin has been Tyson Chandler followed by Landry Fields.

Kyle has been battling injury bug for the last week or so. K-Mart can't buy a bucket the past few games and neither can Dalembert. So yes, I wish the Rox hadn't cut Lin because with him on the floor, we could slide Kyle into the shooting role until Martin gets his shot back.

You are using summer league as an example? Do you realize how comical this is? The first round draft picks don't even try in summer league, it's nothing but glorified scrimmages for them. The majority of summer league players are scrubs that will never see the light of day in the NBA. ALso, for much of that clip, he was defended and being defended by a guy who has never played in the NBA
Production of the three PGs Jeremy Lin has played against in the past three games:
Deron Williams: 21 points, 11 assists, six rebounds, three steals, 3 turnovers. Other than the points, that is all better than his season averages
Devin Harris: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists. Sadly that is actually a tad bit better than his season averages, he really has been that bad all season. Three of his 4 made baskets were in the pain
John Wall: 29 points, six assists, two steals, just one turnover. That is leaps and bounds better than his season average. 29 points is his third best point total this year. 8 of his 12 made baskets were in the paint.
You aren't playing good defense if you struggle to keep out of the paint two PGs that are slashers with poor jumpers (Harris, Wall).
