Its Hyperbole...its very common for broadcasters...why do you think Dan Patrick had the "homer call of the week" for so long?

I don't see the big deal in the reaction. It's a 3/4 court shot to win the game. It may happen a few times a year, but how many times at Lindsey Wilson College? And that dude had most likely given up hope. I would have thrown down my audio gear and ran out onto the court screaming

That's my thought on it...broadcasters use hyperbole all the time...heck I remember when I was calling a game between LCA and Flint Hill a few years ago and I got pretty ramped up when they got a sack on a two point conversion to tie the game on the final play. Heck, I remember hearing the last few seconds of Liberty's win over Penn State in the NCAA tournament a couple years before that...

Reading further it said it capped a 19 pt comeback!
