Where can we find a copy of their schedule? I'd go over and watch a few games. And who did they play tonight?

Check out the uniforms:
According to the schedule, the next home games are January 15 and 17 (edited, thanks to Purple). Who wants to go? Any word on the quality of the nachos at VUL?

That's the first win of the year, and maybe in the history of the program!
According to the schedule, the next home game is February 2. Who wants to go? Any word on the quality of the nachos at VUL? How hot is their cheese?
I think the closest nachos are at the 7/11. And that cheese is def hotter!
What schedule are you looking at? The one I see says they have home games the 15th and 17th. The feb 2 game against PHCC will have one of our former players but don't think we can make it.

Could be. The only PH I know is the CC in Martinsville.

He's had to stoop this low to get back into college coaching? Everyone has to restart somewhere I suppose.

They have another game tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.
I don't have the schedule, but it should be available next week.
& I'm excited (as you all would imagine). He's right here in the Burg, with an enthusiastic group of players, fans, and community support. For a guy that's been out of it for five years, it's great. Sure, he initiated Team Virginia & won a couple of national championships against very high competetion, but this is college basketball again.
I'll say again... Go Flames & Layer, Go Dragons ..........
(and how dare any of you say "we don't know if it's true?) Was that you Purple? You know I've never fabricated anything here....not that I'm upset or anything.... just adding that in for the record.

Just reviewed the posts & see that you, Purple, were actually quite fair and encouraging.
Thanks!

Also just looked at the VUL site & looks like I got the score wrong. 82-21?
My source was a text message ... sorry about that too.

WTF?
The only question I had was whether PH was the CC when SLY brought up another PH.
Seriously, you can't see how the defensiveness and paranoia get to people? You just assumed I said something and made a complete emarrassment out of yourself when it proved you were wrong.
Get over yourself.

Could there possibly be a 3rd Patrick Henry? I checked the schedules of both the home schooled college and the community college, and neither lists VUL on its schedule.

#1 I immediately apologized. # 2 my posts are, at least in my mind, much less harsh than yours.
# 3 I believe it's you that needs to get over yourself.
Not trying to start a war or develop enemies within this board - just saying how I see it.
Take it or leave it, figure you'll probably leave it, but there is no reason that I know of that we should be insulting one another to this degree.

Last thing on this. After my ill-advised post, I posted the above VERY quickly. (Both at 8:38, I believe) And if I were THAT defensive, I might have responded to the "how low can you go"
post, but didn't, and don't care to.
I'm tired of bickering. It's pointless.
And I will reiterate that I am thankful for what I see was actually support from Purple. I don't believe I will address this again, but will simply be much more careful in the future.
I love the vision and work of Dr. Falwell, think he was one of the most gifted & greatest achievers in the history of the New Testament, and I love people like Shane Pinder, and respect (although I do not know him personally) Coach Layer & wish him all the best. We have a lot in common here
on this board, and every now & then something we disagree on. Bottom line, we're brothers-in Christ who wish one another well.

VUL won 78-52. I think they had lost to this team before. They play hard nose defense and have skills.
Armory was packed and RD even stomped a couple of times. Lots of excitement. He will build a winner in Lynchburg.
