I was bored and curious, and paid a visit to the Stetson and New Hampshire basketball sites to see how these 2 former Flames are doing. Chris Perez got almost no love on this board, which I never understood. He is currently the leading scorer for Stetson at 13.2 ppg, while shooting a very respectable .485 from the floor. IMHO we really missed him last year. Konan is a starter and is 3rd in scoring for New Hampshire at 9.7 ppg,

.485 is phenomenal for a guard and we miss him this year too. Konan not so much.

Olldflame, have you looked to see how Carter McMasters is doing at Palm Beach Atlantic? I think he had at least one game where to scored 20 for his D2 school.

Carter is averaging 7 points and 5.4 rebounds for Palm Beach Atlantic. Bill Weaver is scoring 11.1 ppg for Mercyhurst and Johnny Stephene 8.5 ppg for Central Oklahoma. I checked on Austin Smith, and he is no longer on the roster at Northern Arizona. Brolin Floyd played only a few games for Tennessee Temple. He is no longer on their roster.

A little more checking revealed that Austin announced he would be leaving NAU shortly before classes began this fall. No reason given, but he has 2 years of eligibility remainng.

That's a shame about Austin. I thought he'd turn out to be a pretty good ballplayer... no surprise with Floyd though.
