I figured maybe a poll would help find a consensus for this since we only have a couple days before the final week of the regular season gets going

I have no side in this since I'm not in either league, but why do you have 2 options where the Playoff Champion doesn't get promoted? Isn't the whole point of playing to win the championship? If you're considering promoting 3 teams, I'd probably add an option for promoting Playoff Champion, Regular Season Champion and Points Leader. If these ended up being the same team you could then go with highest order of finish.

I'm going to pick a different one. Drop the bottom 2, add the top 4 this year.
Next year, when the A league has 10, drop the bottom 3, then promote the #1 B-league seed plus the top 2 post season finishers.

Adam, with the three team options, its inferred that the league champion is promoted

I like anything that has 10 teams in A league, promotes a couple of good teams BUT I also want the teams in A league to be people actively running their teams and showing up for drafts. So maybe demotion could be based on that, if you have anybody in A league that has had Peyton Manning starting since day 1 (like we have in B league).

Actually, it's not inferred. One of the options is for the top 3 regular season finishers get promoted. Anyway, I was referencing the 2 team options. You have 2 options where the league champion is left out in the cold.

I was converting a post LUconn had made into a poll discussion

I think you need 10 teams in A League.
B League Champion, Regular Season Champ, Points Leader, and playoff runner-up all get promoted. If that's only 2 different teams then all 8 currently in A League stay. If it's 3, then 1 in A League drop. If it's 4, then 2 in A League drop.

Barring LUconn benching his entire roster and either jbock or myself going cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs this last week in scoring, itll be no more that 3 teams

sly and one other owner haven't touched their teams since september. i say they get demoted for sure. they are also last and 3rd to last place anyway so demotion is inevitable i think.
league A should have 10 for sure. we have 8 now so we should probably promote 5 from B league. its pretty obvious who should be promoted and we really don't need a poll. the first 5 places after the playoffs is over should be promoted. once the championship is over, it reorders the standings based on the results. 1-5 get in.
bottom 3 of A league go down to B league.

dealing with best records and total points and all the crap is annoying, just make it on final ranking and be done with it. going by playoff results only takes away from the majority of tiebreakers and all that other crap.

Id be fine with top 5 after playoffs. makes matchups all the way into the Conso bracket important.
