And Yahoo and ESPN also failed to report that the reason why he narrowed his list down to the 5 schools he did is because the head coaches were recruiting him more than the assistants. He said that in the same interview that quote came from. ESPN and Yahoo trying to make up stories when there isn't a story there...

the point is the uniforms and shoes matter

Not as much as the money, but you have a point.

Frankly it is rare to see Baylor getting outbid these days.
