Rex Grossman is starting in week 1. I truly... I've never seen a franchise so out of touch with their fan base. All we heard from Shanacant was that John Beck was the descending from the clouds of the football Gods. You spent all last year talking about he was the savior of the world. Then you start Rex, a proven failure and incompetent player, along with that imcompetent son of yours coaching the Redskins?

Any good CFL teams I can root for?

Proven failure? I'm not sure how you can prove that. But I am sure that you can prove he was the starting QB for a superbowl team. Hard to complain.

HAHAHAHA!!! A starting QB for a SB team? Yes, that is technically true, but let's hear the rest of the story, shall we?

I am a Bears fan. That defense was unreal. The offense was TERRIBLE. Rex was one of the major problems with the team. He fumbled snaps regularly, including 2 in the Super Bowl. A half-way decent QB, and that game is completely different.

I'm so sorry that you have to endure a season...or at least the beginning of week one...with Rex at QB.

I was going to say that, but I had to find time to double check my research before I said that.

Come on, it's pretty obvious that it wasn't going to matter who the starting quarterback was this year, with the given options. There were really no qb's available outside of Kevin Kolb, and that wasn't going to happen.

It would be nice if they could work a deal out for Carson Palmer, but who knows what the Bengals would demand for him.

I think it is a bit odd that this team has two average quarterbacks and yet kept 8 receivers on their final roster. Does. not. compute.

this. i don't question any move the bills make that isn't a "how does this affect the future?" move.

obviously neither one of these two are the qbs of the future and you aren't going to compete this year outside of something miraculous.

Thank you Jim Haslett for giving the cowboys the game on that 3rd and 21.

Absolutely pitiful. Absolutely disgusting. But what else should I expect from the most incompetent franchise in modern American history?

I thought maybe I could not have the days where I sat and thought about how many ways the Redskins can come up with to lose a game. I guess these days are still here.

Sad part is, Rex wasn't even the reason we lost. A lot of postgame hate on him, but I honestly don't feel he's the reason we lost. At all. Redzone issues again, but the most glaring... the all out madden blitz on 3rd and 21. Why? For what purpose? It doesn't make sense to me at all when the defense has been playing great that you would even give them that chance to have that goofball #23 (I'm despise him so much I won't even say his name) screw up again.

I'm so over this. Call it the new regime, but it always comes down to the same old crap.

Hey, at least Rex didn't chuck the ball way up in the air in triple coverage just hoping someone with a white jersey would get it :D

You mean De-Angelo? He's the reason (well one of them) that UVa fans and lots of others say VT plays thugs. As a Cowboy fan I don't feel bad for the skins but they do seem to try to lose sometimes. Maybe they didn't want the pressure of going 3-0?

Sadly you're probably right flamehunter.

As a WVU fan, I always thought Hall was overrated. Of course when he played for VT, WVU still played them. Until they got too chicken to play us anymore.

I'd much rather come after them on 3rd and long than sit back in a Cover-2 and give them 10-15 yards. They were in four down territory and Romo made a heckuva throw on the run. If you want to blame someone then blame Kyle Shanahan for becoming Brandon Streeter in the redzone. The 'Skins really stink inside the 20's.

Grossman is what he is. If I was game planning against the Redskins, I'd just play a zone and let him toss the ball for 8-10 yards a time. The 'Skins can't score when the D is tightened because Grossman can't make a play outside the offensive design. If he's forced to improvise, it's going to be either an INT or a terribly thrown pass. He's basically a worse version of Trent Dilfer.

Just thought I'd point that out :D

I seriously give up on this team. They are going to kill football for me like the Orioles did for baseball.
Shanahan is so out of date with how to win in today's NFL. Back to back losses to 1 win teams. :nonono
