A Sea Of Red

Apparently one of my pastors was a fan. He used quotes from Dave in last wks. sermon about waiting. Dave was a baseball pitcher who lost an arm to cancer. (One of the best pts. from sermon is that waiting doesn't mean sitting around twiddling our thumbs; it is doing everything we can and waiting on God to work it out. The example was going out to look for a job....)

I read his books Comeback and When You Can't Comeback (its been a number of years so I may be botching the sequel title). He's got a powerful testimony.

His wife spoke at the Woman's Conference a couple years back on campus.
