Kyle didn't "need" Charlotte for football. He needs a 6th member for LAX.

In 2013, there will be 6 members w/o Davidson: Presby, Campbell, Winthrop, High Point, Coastal Carolina and Liberty.

I thought it was b/c "Davidson" sounded like a man's name and "Charlotte" sounded like a woman's name......
