It's time. Who's your team, and who do you hope they draft? What players do you like the most? How do you think the draft is going to go?

My team is the Texans and I don't care who they draft as long as they play defense.

I spent some time in the Tampa airport last week with Tyrod Smith. He had spent the day working out for the Bucs. He's a real good guy based on my interaction with him. And he's about to become a very wealthy man.

As a Redskins fan, I couldn't care less about the draft. I'll still watch it, I just know that the Redskins will trade every draft pick they have for exchange for 60 year old Quaterback...

bock come on bro...that was the old regime. Clearly mcnabb underachieved this year and that was a bust, but who could have predicted he would have been that bad after playing at a pro bowl level for most of his career. Also you still can't evaluate a QB with our offense. The WR's are limited and the line needs atleast 1 more starter, probably 2 and a couple quality backups.

For the record, I actually think it was a good trade for McNabb. Although he wasn't that great, he saved us from the absolute train wreck of Grossman... which is my concern. We need to draft a QB. I know we won't do so.

Chase Daniel was tearing it up during preseason, and what do we do? Cut him. Marko Mitchell was a beast playing football at Nevada, and did well during preseason. And what did we do? Cut him.

Sorry Jenkins, but as someone who was 6 months old when the Redskins last did anything significant (winning the Super Bowl), I have only been alive to see failure.

I think the Rams need to look at a RB...Jackson isnt getting any younger...and having another back that can come in and take some of the load when he isnt in the game will certainly take pressure off Bradford and the passing game

i completely agree...i'd just like to give the new regime a slight pass before i lump them in there with whats happened the last 15 years. I think they will make a move to get a QB..i just hope it's not mallet or Cam, which i dont think it will be. i keep hearing shanny really likes Locker and Andy Dalton both of whom i think could be good in his system. Here's to hoping for a chacne to trade back and pick up another pick then still take locker or dalton

Mallet and Cam would be much better than anything we have now.

Personally, I think Cam will you do better than people think. I think Gabbart will be a bust.

But then again, everybody told me I was crazy when I said JaMarcus Russell would be a bust...

As a Redskins fan, I can't really say for certain who I want them to draft, SO many holes in that roster. I keep seeing Receiver or QB in the mocks, but I don't really like any of the QB's enough to use the 10 pick on, and the team's decision-making when it's come to Receivers has been awful. We need help on both lines, so unless there's a trade-down scenario available, I'd like to build up the lines (though I don't know if there's an O-lineman worthy of the #10 pick this year). Of course, another fast CB would be nice, too.

There are some players I love, like Green, Miller, Peterson, Amukamara, but they'll all be gone by the time the Redskins pick.

One team that will be interesting to watch is the Chiefs. I think KC is so close to being elite, and they've just been stacking that defense with studs.

Did everyone catch that Gruden interview with Cam Newton? Give me an example of calling a play in your offense? "I look to the sideline and a sign says 36, so I say 36..." Can anyone say Heath Shuler? Why don't teams learn, for every one Bradford, there are 20 QB busts. The best QBs are late picks in my opinion.

I tried to tell they to draft Jennings a couple of years ago, but they didn't listen. Gotta wonder about them.

I'm hoping AJ Green falls to the 'Skins. He's the only player I see the 'Skins drafting at 10. I'd love Von Miller but don't think he falls beyond the top-5.

Hoping for a trade down.

Green failing to 10 - no chance...

THat really depends on how many teams ahead of Washington have WR as a major need. If a lot of them dont (or they do but decided to prioritize other needs ahead of WR) I wouldnt be surprised to see him drop to 10

No way - he's this year's Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson - need or no need - someone's biting before 10.

Looking at the Receiving numbers from a year ago, the most likely targets (Id think) outside of Washington would be Arizona (29th in receiving), San Francisco (18th in receiving), Cleveland (30th in receiving) and Tennessee (28th in receiving) with Cincinnati (13th) as an outside possibility of going after him at 4.

Good selection here. Maybe Cincinnati wouldn't be a stretch - there anything but solid at WR anymore with Chad and a bunch of smaller receivers - Chad's getting older and maybe Palmer gets happier if they give him someone to throw to?

Very true...and Arizona even if they did take Green needs somebody to throw it to him, Fitzgerald and Breaston...I really do not feel sold on Hall or Skelton (or even Navarre if he is still there) as the franchise QB.

Don't worry, no one is trying to sell you that. Don't just look at receiving numbers, too much of it depends on the QB. Look at the rosters.

Thats the thing...all of those teams that I mentioned, they have definite issues at QB. Carolina (Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen...I think I heard initially that there was talk of them taking a QB with that pick), Arizona (Max Hall and John Skelton and I think John Navarre), San Francisco (Shaun Hill and Alex Smith) and CLeveland (Jake Delhomme who is prone to throwing INTs and Colt McCoy) have issues at the QB position. Tennessee at least has a solid QB in Collins to throw to Green if he went there

no chance that green falls to number 10....absolutely no chance.

Completely dissagree that everyone in philly thought mcnabb was done. There was a ton of howling about trading mcnabb to an inner division team. I still dont think he was as bad as he played, with our O line you cant evaluate a QB. Clearly he's not at his best.

I'm sure my wife is going to LOVE the fact that something she cares nothing about will occupy the TV at 8pm on a Thursday night. Stupid NFL.

Oh, and there are rumblings the Redskins would like to trade down, possibly with the Patriots. Yay. And watch, Dallas will screw the skins and pull of that trade-down first.

Who do the patriots want? Green? OL?

Steal of the draft will be Locker... The guy can play and is better than all the other QBs - just had a bad year with a real bad team. He's going to be a good player.
