Report: Holgorsen to be next WVU coachhttp://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootbal ... art-121410
Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen will become the next head coach at West Virginia University in 2012, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday.
Holgorsen will reportedly head to Morgantown, W.V., to become the school's offensive coordinator in 2011, while head coach Bill Stewart will remain at the helm for one more season.
Stewart, whose current contract ends after the 2013 season, would reportedly be reassigned within the athletic department after next season.
Neither of the two schools have commented on the report.
According to the report, Holgorsen will receive a six-year contract. The first will pay him $500,000 as offensive coordinator, while the next five will be at $2 million per season.
Holgorsen, 39, is considered one of the top offensive minds in college football, having overseen high-powered offenses at Texas Tech and Houston prior to his arrival in Stillwater, Okla., this season.
