You can't have a tournament/playoff with more automatic qualifiers than at-large qualifiers - NCAA rule. So, to be more on the realistic side, you'd have to have 11/11 or scrap the 11 and only have 8 autos with 8 at large bids.

Ok, are these as of today, or projected for the end of the year?

These are my end of the year projections, as of today. Not if the season ended today, but what I am predicting in terms of results.
In that case, I would have Va Tech higher.

Who do you have losing between Utah/TCU? I imagine Utah. If so, no way they get an at-large, or deserve an at-large and definitely not at #7.

Boise State d. Pittsburgh 39-29
TCU d. Central Florida 23-8
Oklahoma d. Stanford 33-24
Ohio State d. Utah 37-25
Auburn d. Troy 28-19

Quarterfinals
Oregon d. Alabama 52-40
Virginia Tech d. Boise State 41-32
TCU d. Oklahoma 31-14
Auburn d. Ohio State 29-11

Semifinals
Oregon d. Virginia Tech 35-22
TCU d. Auburn 38-24

I think the site missed this game earlier this year.

...and VT hasn't exactly been worldbeaters since. Really doubt TCU wins over Auburn, too.

Va Tech would be 11-2 with wins over GA Tech, UNC, Miami, and FSU/NC State. That's a better resume than a 2 loss Oklahoma team.

And 11-1 Michigan State should be in over Utah. Michigan St would have a win over your Big 10 champ. Which is a much better win than any of Utah’s wins.

I agree Mich St is not a top 10 team, but if they win out (which I'm sure they will) they would deserve to be in as one of the at-larges.
