Boy that was a shocker. I heard Neuhisel's empassioned speech/apology to the fans after UCLA's 35-0 loss to Stanford at thought it sounded like the words of a desperate man, but it looks like something clicked with his team. IMHO college football is better when UCLA is good. I'm old enough to remember when UCLA/USC was one of the top 10 rivalries in the game. Lately it's benn like the rivalry between hammer and nail.

UCLA is the Pac-10 equivalent of K-State in the Big XII for the Longhorns ... Kryptonite.
Of course it can all be easily forgotten by this Saturday evening. Allegedly Fox Sports Net has me working that game. Although I thought the same thing about UCLA Saturday this time last week.
