Vick or Kolb?

If you're Andy Reid, who do you start this week?
Vick comes out and plays a pretty good game; looks like the old Vick. Meanwhile, Kolb is still battling concussion symptoms. Who do you start?

How bad is he really battling the concussion symptoms? Sometimes they put that stuff out to leave themselves wiggle room. If his head is fine, I play Kolb. I think all the talking heads way exaggerated how well Vick played last week. If I'm coach, I gotta give my #1 guy a chance.

They both stink so it's a tough decision.

im not vick fan, but you go with the guy who gives you the best chance to win IMO...and that is vick right now.

I don't see how you don't go with Vick. He gives your team a different dynamic and when the alternative is Kolb who has shown that he is just not ready, I don't see how you don't go with vick

So Vick proved that he's the Eagles' only chance to win....by beating the Lions by 3? Kolb has played 1 half, albeit terribly, but is that the criteria for benching your #1 for the season? Sure, the Eagle o-line is bad, which I guess makes Vick's escapability an asset, but I can't see determining your starting quarterback based on your o-line personnel every year. This all just sounds to me like the Eagles don't really have a #1, just a couple backups.

kolb should have never been given this chance. I have no idea what they saw in him...he showed absolutely no signs of being any good. When you give up a QB like Donovan McNabb the guy that is ready to step in, better be ready. Aaron Rogers was ready and performed well. he had his ups and downs his first season as a starter, but he never looked completely and utterly lost...
And like you said with Philly's horrible line it will benefit them much more having vick out there that can make plays
But at the end of the day the Eagles aren't a good all around team and will win 8, maybe 9 games

Come on postman did you watch either game Kolb started last year...ill bet you didn't? So your basing your opinion of what sportscenter highlights...get a life. Kolb started two games last year and while he didn't look like a pro-bowler saying he showed no signs of being any good, is pretty pathetic.
I mean he had a less than avg game against the super bowl champs ( who didn't ) and destroyed the Chiefs (which he should have done). His stats weren't awful and i think he is the only qb ever to throw for over 300 yards in his first 2 starts. Look at the stats or watch a game then give an opinion thats actually worth something.
Aaron rodgers didn't light the world on fire his first year either( every team wishes they could play Det twice a year). The eagles have one of the youngest offensive cores in the league. Maclin, Celek, jackson, kolb, McCoy, Avant are all 25 and younger i believe so its going to take them a game or two to gel. Im fine with Vick starting, just not baseless opinions.

I'm so sick of this horse *^%# QB controversy I've sworn off the NFL for the season (I think). Its making me mental. You cant get away from it up here.

you're right, I didn't watch last year so I can't really speak of those, but I saw the game this year. Maybe its a small bit of what Kolb is capable of, but he looked like he didn't even belong in the league.
People don't like Vick, I get that...but he is so much better then Kolb. This is a win now league, you go with what works. Yes Vick's only win as a starter is against the Lions, but I think he has proven he can lead a team if given the chance.
I do agree though, it was unfair of me to judge him on just seeing one game. He could be a good QB, I just think Vick is better and think its dumb to waste a season waiting for your guy to develop on the field. Thats just my opinion...
but smile man, its sports, its ok to disagree and discuss things. I wasn't attacking you personally or anything...
everybody is so sensitive these days...

Its a character trait common to people from NJ. Hasn't served us well, either.

Yea the game this year was awful no doubt about it! But last year kolb showed me he has some skills to get it done. I have nothing against Vick and it wasn't the reason for my response. Vick has had time to learn and our O-line sucks so i think he can be good, i really do. Your right its ok to disagree and discuss but why i said what i said was because its lazy to say a guy has no talent and give no explanation of why....
Besides this board needs a little life...

Lions and Jacksonville. He'll cut up the Redskins this weekend. He's a middle of the road QB, who feasts on below average teams but will struggle against good teams.
