Kennesaw State Just announced they will be adding football. More details to come later. apparently they have already been invited to the Big south as FB only.

a few notes from the press conference. if all goes well they will start in 2014. and vince dooley will be their first coach.

Where will they play?

Sharing a soccer stadium with a Kennesaw WPS team.

Everything I have heard has been focused on their soccer stadium.

The soccer stadium was built with football in mind. foundation and endzone is ready for building.

Vince Dooley will be 82 years old in 2014!

That's not according to me, that's public knowledge from earlier this year. The linked story from the AJC, who broke KSU to the Big South, includes the Bohannon information.

Thanks for clarifying that manson. It is good to see that we will be bringing in another program, giving a bit of an extension of the footprint for football into the Atlanta area. If they were launching in 2014 they would be a good candidate to fill one of our remaining dates on the calendar before joining the conference.
