The WAC just got hosed in grand fashion. But this is a gutsy move by BYU. I guess they feel they can fill their schedule with WAC schools even without the alliance. Perhaps we should get on the horn to start scheduling with them.

Just heard on ESPN radio that BYU signed an 8-year deal w/ ESPN. Similar to Notre Dame's deal w/ NBC.

Have also signed a 5-year series w/ ND.

Seems like a pretty good deal for them.

I think the BYU Channel will be primarily be used for everything else similar to what Texas is trying to start up They will have a few stray games on their own channel but it is everything else that will be impacted short term.

Gutsy move in football no doubt, and a lateral-to-step-up move in bball playing in the same conference with Gonzaga and St. Mary's. Good luck BYU.

Does this give hope to LU for 20 years from now?
