Kennesaw St to the Big South?

There's a rumor on their board that the Big South has already extended an invite for football only.

Nice find.
This has been rumored for a few years. The Big South is a logical option for KSU and if it is indeed an affiliate membership then even Kyle could see the value.

Word Down the street is an announcement is on its way. I have a few friends who work in the SID office at KSU and I'll be having a chat with them on wed. about everything. Dooley actually came to our office about a week ago to talk to coach curry. Saw him walking in the hall and did a double take. I'm keeping close tabs on this one so i'll keep you guys informed.

I think the folks over at the KSU board might be in for a rude awakening, unless their program takes off quicker than I think it will. 2 years to FBS?? What's in that Kool-Aid, anyway?

They are one of(my employer is the other) the fastest growing schools in the state. a state where Big time football can be spoken in one break tech and uga. State has already capitalized on the Atlanta market with football and we seem to be moving fast and furious towards an FBS bid in the next 5 years. 2 years... not so much.
Ksu can follow the same route if they pony up and dedicate to it. that is the big question. can they and will they?
