Virginia Tech just lost a tailback.

It will be interesting to see where he lands. From what I remember, he did ok prior to his shoulder surgery and Achilles heel injury.

Lewis is also a pretty fair baseball player who was in the Reds system for 3 years before coming to Tech to play football. VT is just loaded at tailback. I'd say he either transfers to an FCS program or gives pro baseball another shot.

He's already got his degree and almost his masters degree from Tech. Also, he can't play college baseball as he has already forfeited that right by playing minor league ball for the reds. He's just done with football and the achilles injury robbed him of his main attribute which was speed. I should know because I saw him turn a bunt that was overthrown to 1st into a single and 3 base error. yah he scored on it.
