Anyone been seeing what Albert Haynesworth and his idiot agent are doing?
The guy signs his mega-contract, then dogs it for much of the season, complaining about losing and not being used properly. The Redskins clean house, changing coaches and management, supposedly bringing in winners and guys who know what they're doing. Albert's happy about this, right?
Nope, because now the Redskins will be switching to a 3-4 defense, and Albert doesn't like that. So the Redskins tell him, you have until April 1 to find any team that wants you, and you'll be traded. April 1st arrives, with no trade offers, so Albert takes his $26 million bonus check.
The Redskins, being very reasonable folks in all this, assume that because he took his bonus check, he'd be a good player-under-contract and meet his obligations. Instead, Albert skips all team functions, OTA's, etc (none of them mandatory). Today, when mandatory mini-camp starts, he decides he'll issue a statement saying he's not going to show up and he still wants a trade. The statement his agent released is juvenile and pathetic, actually making the statement that all of this will be a distraction for the team. Right now, I don't think the Redskins care much about him roster-wise, they just want to get their money back.
This guy has been one excuse after another, I don't think he'll ever be happy.
