Coastal football coach David Bennett again finds himself looking for an assistant coach.
Bennett spent much of the offseason filling three positions on his staff and the departure of one of his new hires has restarted the process. Defensive line coach Kevin Mapp has left for a job in the construction industry, a lucrative position in the Washington, D.C., area offered by one of his college buddies at JMU.

He had been there six or seven months and completely left the profession less than two months before training camp.

Talk about burning bridges. I hope he doesn't plan on coaching ever again. I like throwing out there the "lucrative" side note. Completely just added in to make it feel better.

I loved this line from the article:

Bennett is allowing the players to help him make his decision on who to bring in as a coach.

I didn't see LeBron James on their roster either. Weird.
