Close, but I say Celtics in 7.
Lakers have best player, and best coach. But Celts have more balance and a deeper bench. Over the course of a 7-game series, I give the slight edge to those Celtics' characteristics.

Lakers in 6 or 7.

And honestly as far as "fans" go, I'd have to say the Celtics and Red Sox have a ton of bandwagon fans which talk a lot of smack but know close to nothing lol. Most fans from Boston are fairly knowledgeable about sports, but most Boston "fans" aren't from even New England. My 2 cents.when a columnist from that great town says the celtics should take howard out and there is great support for that crap in that city it completely diminishes them as a "smart" sports town...

Also, a single basketball series is going to make you not cheer for the RED SOX? LOL
I am a lifelong red sox fan...and after the celtics/magic series I hate that city and will probably never cheer for the red sox ever again...

If not, then I agree with postman, it's over in 5. 6 if their lucky.

Phil Jackson coached teams after winning game 1 are 47-0 in winning the series... thats an incredible number and just means losing is inevitable for the Celtics... this Lakers team is on a whole other level and its going to be scary for the next couple yearsflamesbball84 wrote:Impressive game 1 performance by the lakers, but the Celtics showed a knack for coming back strong after getting blown out.
