A Sea Of Red

Is there any other time that has more crazy speculation and ridiculous talk than this final hour before the deadline? Its funnier than any sitcom right now in ESPN. Every five minutes they have another "insider" completely contradict what they just reported moments before.

I've always thought it was kinda funny about the trading deadline. All these special shows made just to see who is going where.

I'm going to be extremely ticked if Atlanta trades Andruw to the Red Sox.

That doesn't sound very logical. Many times clubs will float rumors out there to send a message to a player that they aren't bigger than the franchise. JS isn't above that type of move. Obviously he has trouble making any trades since he has gotten the better of so many for the past couple of decades.

Yesterday Philly traded Bobby Abreiu (sp?) and a pitcher to the hated Yanks for 4 minor league prospects.

sigh.

yet another "rebuilding" effort

Was lazy and overpaid......glad he is gone....his stats since last years all-star break are very average and not worth 12+ million. Now if we can just find a sucker for Pat Burrell.....
