Brookville point guard Dunton commits to Longwood

“I’m really excited about it,” Dunton said, noting the Lancers finally contacted her last week to extend an offer. “I hadn’t heard from them at all. They weren’t looking for a point guard, but then they realized they needed a vocal player out there — not just a point guard that can see the floor, but someone who can come in and make an impact and just be the coach out on the floor.”

I saw the video with a proud dad sitting at the table as she signed. Good for him. And now he'll spend a lot of time at Longwood, haha.

I reffed quite a few of her games at Brookville. I think she'll do just fine at Longwood.
