seems like a pretty good job. They obviously don't care how well you do.

I was wondering if a certain local commercial realtor might be interested in the job, so that he could continue to coach his daughter in college.

Maybe he could at least be hired at the interim coach (I hear that he's got experience in that area); and the word on the streets is that she has D3 talent level for college basketball.

Yeah, she'd do really, really well in DIII. Think more SoCon than ODAC...

this job was posted on the ncaa website three weeks ago. apparently the competition for the job is pretty stiff, assistant coaches from high quality D3 programs and lower level D1 programs are applying for the job. good place to go for first head job. expectations are low (but they are expecting the program to become competitive like some of their men's teams), and I would assume the person hired would be given ample time to turn around the program. if not given time then no one will get them turned around - the women's teams over there don't have the fortune of being able to start from scratch and .have to overcome decades of losing
the new AD they brought in two years ago has placed an emphasis on getting the teams competitive and this move was the least bit surprising. rumor was the coach was on the hot seat all year, unfortunately for her numerous things happened outside of her control and she had to suffer the consequences. i wouldn't be surprised to see other established coaches over there leaving in the next couple years if they don't get their teams turned around.

Randolph doesn't joke around with their new hires these days under AD Tina Hill.
