If only Favre could have made it that simple and short.

Kampman isn't retiring. He just signed a 26 million dollar contract with the Jaguars.

Again, if only Favre could have made it that simple and short.... with both the Jets and Vikes.

Favre is/was nothing more than an attention whore. I don't like New Orleans, but it warmed my heart to see Favre absolutely choke the Super Bowl away with that pick he threw....serves him right.

Thank you. Couldn't have said it better myself.

You guys really think Favre does the whole retirement/indicision thing for attention? Does he really need that type of attention? I don't see it.

He knows that he is at the end of his career (should have been 2 years ago), so he knows that organizations i.e. the Packers will be bringing up new, young, better talent to take his place, which is why he went wherever he could. Since he was desperate, he figure he'd be a bag about it, and get as much attention as possible.
If you can't tell, I'm a big Favre fan.

Last season sure did prove that he should have retired two years ago. Oh, wait, no, I don't see that either.

Packer management is not blameless in the way they handled Favres departure.
