The Bureau of Labor statistics says Americans work an average of 7.6 hours on workdays. Today, that’s going to be easier said than done as six major conferences – the ACC, SEC, Big East, Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-10 – are deep into their tourneys. That’s 18 big-time games to deal with in basically an 11-hour window. Doesn’t leave much time for conference calls and TPS reports.
Don’t worry. We’re here for you. First, let’s start with that 7.6 number. Yeah. Right. Maybe 7.6 hours if you include facebook stalking, fantasy baseball line-up setting, laps around the office and general YouTubery. Point is, there’s a bunch of downtime on any given workday. We’re just going to have to re-direct it into something more productive.
