Acker was part of a rotation at running back as a sophomore. He finished the 2009 season with 38 rushes for 309 yards and a trio of touchdowns along with 14 receptions for 122 yards and a blocked punt returned for a score. His best performance came in JMU’s win over Liberty, rushing 12 times for 147 yards, including touchdown runs of 65 and 13 yards.

Did their big RB ever recover from that nasty hit his knee took?
