I think what people fail to realize is that LeBron & his crew are a pretty smart bunch. Let's just say theoretically he *has* decided to leave Cleveland (and I will argue with anybody who says he's going to, because I am 100% convinced he is staying there) -- there is no incentive for him to 'hint' at leaving, or somehow be cute and subtly tell everyone he is gone. If he *really is* going to NYC it would be in his best interest to not bring it up or mention it at all... Its not like he needs to float the idea out there just to see if he'd be received well in NYC.
Oh and BTW -- that is the color scheme for the Cavs 'throwback' uni's they have worn multiple times this year. This would be the reason those shoes exist

Yeah I know about the old Cavs jersey's, that doesn't explain the NY though because I certainly don't see a NY reference on those jerseys.

Come on now...how do you know about the cavs jersey's and not the I Love NY???
LeBron has made it very clear he has a passion for NYC. Loves the garden, loves the yankees. Twice in the last two years he has worn SE "Yankees" shoes during games. His favorite sports team IS the Yankees, follow by the Cowboys and it has been that way for a long time. He's never denied and always been emphatic about his love of NYC...And his love of his hometown, Akron, and Cleveland.
However, that doesn't mean that is where he is headed.
Honestly, while I'm convinced he'll stay in cleveland -- the only draw for him is maybe playing with D-Wade, Cp3, Bosh etc. One or two of these guys. And is NY going to go out and sign more than 1 of these guys to less than a max deal? Its theoretically possible, but I'm not sure I see it happening. As someone that considers himself a "cavs fan" -- if LeBron leaves Cleveland and goes to the Knicks for less than a Maz deal.... And then D-Wade goes and they swing a trade for Cp3, or sign him in two years (i think when his deal is up) -- I couldn't hate on that at all. Honestly, how amazing would that be to watch for 3-4 years?

Getting three of the superstars isn't going to happen, I guarantee it. I'd be surprised, not shocked but a little surprised, if they are able to swing even two of them. The apocalypse will be coming if New Orleans trades him, unless CP3 demands to be traded and refuses to play until he is traded, and he isn't going to do that.

it would never work with D-Wade, LBJ, and CP3.... i mean on paper yes it looks awesome... but let me remind you of the Lakers when they got The Mailman and had Shaq and Kobe... there is only 1 ball to go around... thats why teams like that fail...

Bad comparison. Malone and Payton were dinosaurs in the league by that point. These are guys that are about to go into their prime.

3 totally different players here. Paul is a true PG, and both Lebron and Wade are unselfish players as well, While I don't see it happening, I do believe it could work, and it would be incredibly entertaining to see.

its still the same point.. there is only 1 ball for 5 people... and if they all want to continue to score there 40 it will never happen. its why the USA Team of a couple years ago failed.. you throw big names together and expect them to be awesome and kill everyone and they fail....
it will be fun to watch, but i don't think it guarantees a championship or a dynasty

The USA team where LeBron and those guys were on the bench failed. The one with that class as the main guys was wildly successful.
LeBron, Wade, and CP3 don't want to get their 40 every night. The problem is that their teams aren't that good and make them have to get 40 occasionally to have a chance to win. Those guys would be fine with 20/8/8 every night. Paul and LeBron both love setting other people up.
Your posts on anything LeBron should all have something that reads: "Disclaimer: I'm a huge Kobe fanboy and will do what I can to make LeBron look bad."

You force me to state the obvious. There is always only 1 ball for 5 players! These 3 players were leaders on the GOLD MEDAL WINNING Olympic squad, and all of them have demonstrated a willingness to share the ball.

ok SJ... yes im a Kobe fan... i still think that even with those 3 they wont win a championship... though by that time im pretty sure the Lakers dynasty will be done.... i also dont think those 3 would do good together for 82 games (maybe im wrong on that point)
and you can bet lebron will just be ticked if they come up short the first year and he was coming in thinking it was a guaranteed ring...
even with those 3 i think the celtics can take them... the celtics are a good example of all unselfishness and are especially this year are going to quietly go through the regular season and crush some people in the post season

no im good with that.. cause honestly the east has killed the west in head to head this year... but i dont think the east can take the west in a 7 game series.... the only team that i think can take the west in a 7 game series is the celtics (as much as i dont like LBJ, I HATE EVERY SPORTS TEAM THAT COMES FROM MASSACHUSETTS!!!!!) so when i say i think the celtics have a chance that is big for me hahaha....

ok i will hold you to that.. right now the Lake Show has a choke hold on the rest of the West so im not making any bold predictions by saying they make it to the Finals

Didn't the Hawks just get beat on back-to-back nights by the Cavs?
Didn't the Hawks get blown out the only time they played Orlando this year?

The GRIZZLIES are making it work after getting rid of Iverson (Iverson and Z-BO together is too much team cancer) with a bunch of ball hogs - not even all-NBA ones at that - in Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay, and OJ Mayo.
The Grizz finished 9-4 in December once the whole Iverson fiasco was finally settled. Compare that to other teams who would have a .500 record if the season ended today: Cavs 14-2, LA Lakers 12-3, Celtics 10-4, Rockets 11-5, Spurs 10-5, Magic 9-4, Hawks 9-5, Mavs 9-5, Blazers 9-6, Oklahoma City 9-6, Utah 8-7, Nuggets 7-6, Suns 7-9. Only five quality to decent teams had a better record than the Grizz
And it's not like the Grizz has solely bottom feeders on the schedule - they beat Dallas, beat Cleveland in OT, whooped Miami on the road, only lost by 5 to Boston, and beat Denver. And this is with three ball hogs who are vastly inferior to James, Wade, and Paul.

OK not even sure where to begin here.
First the 'only one ball' argument is probably one of the most ignorant basketball comments I've ever seen. Nevermind knowing anything about the actual game itself, and the fact that it is VERY easy to get shots for 2-3 'superstars' but if you know anything about the 3 guys I mentioned you'd know: 1) they are all great friends 2) they work out together during the offseason 3) they are all unselfish players that have proven they don't have to be 'the guy' (olympic team...even on their own team they are willing to defer).
Just go look at the stats from the nights LeBron scores -- say 10-18 points and the cavs win. He has a lot of assists and not very many shots. You think he gets upset because he only gets 12-14 shots? Again the issue is never getting the shots, there are more than enough to go around, the issue is whether players are willing to defer at certain times. i.e. Was LeBron willing to defer to Kobe during the Olympics at the end of games? Yes! All 3 of these guys are willing to both take the last shot, and if they trust a teammate let the teammate take that shot.
Beyond that the the argument that those three couldn't win a championship? Um...really? The celtics players may all be in wheelchairs by next year, actually by the end of this season. Nothing is guaranteed but if you got a few nice complementary players -- Look at what LeBron did the year the cavs made the finals...What All-Star caliber players were on that roster?? Think about it this way, here is the cavs starting 5 from 2007:
-Sasha Pavlovic
-Larry Hughes
-Drew Gooden
-LeBron James
-Zydrinus Ilgauskas
The rotation off the bench was:
-Anderson Varejao
-Daniel Gibson
-Donyell Marshall
-Damon Jones
-Eric Snow
Now if memory serves correctly Ilgauskas would be the only other player to MAKE an All-Star team (ever), and remember this team beat a very 'team' oriented Detroit team that had made the finals the year before. So your telling me if I replace Larry Hughes with Cp3, and Sasha Pavolvich with D-Wade the cavs don't beat the spurs??? Maybe they don't. But certainly you can make a pretty strong argument they would -- even with the same (pretty bad) bench rotation.
