Might watch soe of the Meineke Bowl, but there's also a basketball game at 3:30 on CBS that's got my attention.

Manson, with London as head coach, you just may be watching the Meineke bowl next year, and in a couple years possibly the Orange Bowl
The Emerald Bowl is going to either come down to the wire and end with a BC upset or be a USC blowout.
Meineke bowl is intriguing, Little Caesar's not so much.

They should change the Meineke Bowl to the "Carolina Underachieved Yet Again This Year So We're Going To Send Them To Charlotte To Lose Yet Again" Bowl.

These games are complete yawners. Only appeal to them is the name of the schools, and that will be the only reason I tune in to them if I even do. It's not like the play on the field is going to be all that great unless the name schools start playing up to their name rather than underachieving like they have most of the season.

Marshall doesn't score after the first quarter, but the 21 unanswered points they put up in the first frame was enough to hold on for the win, 21-17, to finish with a winning record, 7-6.

Good game on tonight....The Aggies vs. UGA...in Shreveport,LA. The last time the Ags played in the Independence Bowl, it turned into a snow-bowl against Mississippi State. The last game coached by Jackie Sherrill.

I remember that game well. That was back when the Ags had a coach who knew how to win on a regular basis. Seems like forever.
I'm headed with my entire crew to the Texas Bowl this Thursday at Reliant.

Ready to cheer on the Middies against Mizzou at Reliant today ... and spend way too much on concessions for my three kids all afternoon.

Exactly. That stupid redneck school with the big ugly T and the most annoying fight song in all of college football is not worthy of sharing initials with Texas, as much as I may or may not like Texas.
That being said... Go Vols.

I am down here in atlanta. its like knoxville and blacksburg puked on our city. Orange allll over the place. and that purple color. ew. just a horrible team combo for colors in a bowl game. that being said i wish both teams could lose. i hate lane kiffin and i dislike VT. so i guess i'll root for the turkey's. on a side note. TTL i really like the tennessee fight song. Maybe its because i'm a closet redneck or i just like the fact that everyone sings to it as the music drops in the middle. i dunno but its awesome. second best in the SEC behind the battle hymn of the republic

How bout those service academies? Navy beating Mizzou (soundly I might add) and Air Force shutting down a very potent Houston offense (and dropping 47 on them using the triple option)

Buckeye honk here

...
I've been saying all year that Navy is a pretty good squad. Yeah they had a few games they probably should have won that they lost and say what you want about Ohio State being over-rated, but after seeing that OSU/Navy game in person I have to say navy played with (and at times outplayed) a team that was many times bigger faster stronger...
Good to see them get the bowl win. They bring a lot back next year and I really like their QB Ricky Dobbs. I could definitely see them coming back and having a shot at a 9-10 win regular season next year.
I was a bit surprised Stanford kept it as close as they did. Oklahoma obviously out-everything'd them in terms of offense, but that was still a heck of a game...

Wow, I did not expect VT to win like they did. Tennessee is a really good team that hung with Florida and should've beaten Alabama, and I expected the final score to be much closer than it really was.

Say good-bye to Bobby at 1:00. This is one West Virginian who is pulling for FSU today.
