With the winter meetings underway, I just wanted to throw this thread out there. Here's to hoping your team doesn't get raped by Scott Boras (or run into the ground by the ineptitude of your GM).

So what you're saying is they signed him to coach Strasburg the next two years.

The Tigers are about to deal Curtis Granderson to the Yankees in a deal that I think leaves everyone worse off...

Well.......I thought they had pitching coaches for that. Seems like a waste to me.

I know the type of people the Nationals sign as pitching coaches.

They made the right move.

Nice Move by the Orioles, should definitely make them more competitive. As a Yankee fan I like the move of adding Granderson.

Anyone want to trade for Milton Bradley? I'd take a bag of balls or a box of Dusty Baker's used toothpicks at this point.

Bradley's a cancer. Besides, I try to make it a point not to trade for people who've served time in prison.*

*His wikipedia page is surprisingly sparse. No mention of his time in jail, or the incident when he chucked the water bottle at fans...

Philadelphia Phillies on the verge of acquiring Roy Halladay for Cliff Lee, and the Red Sox are signing John Lackey to a five-year deal.

The Orioles could be a much improved club next year. Too bad they still dont have a chance to make the playoffs in the east. Adding Millwood, Mike Gonzalez and perhaps a resurgent Garrett Atkins. If they were in the Central or West I think they might make a run if they could grab another starter. They had a pretty good offense last year with young pieces like Jones, Markakis and the Wieters in addition to vets like Roberts and Huff.

You gotta think the lackey signing and Lowell trade is a pre-cursor for a run at A-gon for the Sox
