Kentucky vs Carolina

This looks like it could be a pretty good game. Carolina jumped out to a lead and then John Wall came back to help Kentucky jump out to a 9 point lead. Carolina's cut it back to 7 with the ball with 12 to go in the first half. If you're not in to the football games on right now, check it out.

Whatever you think of Calipari and his recruiting tactics, and whatever you think of John Wall and his recruiting being dirty, the harsh truth is the two of these guys along with those other freshmen are very good for Kentucky.

Kentucky jumped up to a 16 point lead and it doesn't look like it's going away. Carolina will cut it a little and then Kentucky will jump back up. I don't know if this is Kentucky playing out of their minds, Kentucky being that much better than Carolina, Carolina playing terrible, or a combination of the three. This Carolina team doesn't look like the team that beat Michigan State the other night but I can't tell if that's because of Kentucky or because of Carolina.

Michigan State wanted to run with Carolina the other night & UNC got lots of transition/points in the paint & great outside looks.. Kentucky wants to run on Carolina but then get back into defensive position.. Carolina was red hot shooting the other night too.. Kentucky is doing that so far...

And Michigan State didn't have John Wall running their transition game.

This Carolina team is very inconsistent and makes too many turnovers. I think we're a top 15 team but that's about it. It's hard to bounce right back after losing as many players as we did.

I'll take being a Top 20 team instead of a Top 5 team every four years or so if that means there's a national championship and two final fours in there.

I'm with you 100% there. With the recruits that are coming in next year we'll be back on top soon.

With these 2 teams though- if UNC comes out & hits some shots early this half- things could ebb/flow quickly.. Looks like Kentucky's game to lose right now..

Just cramps, but he is still not on the floor and the Heels have cut it to single didgets.

I'm at work today so I'm just following on ESPN GameCast. Are the Heels just not hitting anything inside the 3-point line today? 35% from the field is pathetic.

Although I didn't watch the game, it looks like the Heels fought their way back. A 68-66 loss on the road at Kentucky isn't that bad a result in my opinion.

UNC got lucky that John Wall hadn't learned about drinking fluids prior to gameday. The game was a no contest when he was up to snuff.
