I know a slew of you are as excited about the game this afternoon as I am the one tonight.
I'm also looking forward to the C-USA matchup here in a few minutes.

Pitt puts up 31 on Cincy in a half?
Good to see UH leading at the break on ECU, 19-14.

Don't forget the 4 FCS playoff games.
William and Mary is up 17-3 over #2 Southern Illinois, start of the 4th.

The Florida contingent of the board has been conspicuously quiet today.

As a FSU fan, I am a happy fan, no undefeated season for UF,no championship, no Heisman for Timmy, and to see Timmy crying, priceless.

Let me just say this. I thought florida fans were bad. and auburn fans worse. Alabama fans have now taken the cake on worst fans in the SEC in my book. just sayin. You haven't won a championship since 1992. you won't start now. and anyone who loves to see a good kid like tim like that is heartless.

If Timmy cannot make it in the NFL maybe he can be a spokeperson for Kleenex

In other news, ECU beat Houston for the C-USA championship and Clemson is currently leading GT 7-3.

Cincinnati won 45-44 to win the Big East and will be cheering for Nebraska tonight in the Big 12 championship game (which Texas leads 7-6 1:18 left in the first half)

I have a very strong hatred for Alabama fans....long before this weekend.... actually don't really care for UF at all either but I really respect Urban and love Tim Tebow. Its amazing to me that so many people r ripping him for showing his emotion -- that's what he is all about...he wears his heart on his sleeve. No one said anything last year when he was teary eyed promising to never lose again and then they won a national championship.
But now, when he loses, and is man enough to show that same emotion -- yet give Alabama credit and say they were a better team.... he's taking crap? Thought he was classy in defeat... too bad it seems like most in our culture can't recognize its harder to stand up and be like that after a loss than a win, if anything he should be more respected (character wise) after a loss.
And as close as this game is -- can't see anyway that Nebraska gets enough offense to win this...but we'll see.

What a finish...Texas wins on a last second field goal, Cincinnati comes back from 21 points down to win the Big East, Georgia Tech and Clemson are going down to the wire...couldnt ask for a better end to a day

Let's be honest how many times have you seen 2 or 3 extra seconds run off the clock to end a game or half, after a ball has been thrown out of bounds or a FG is made?

Wow...did Colt's butt just get saved. What would be the fall back if the clock ran out on that throw away. I almost wish it would have, I would have loved to see the BCS in shambles....could you imagine the reaction of TCU when they saw the clock run out? hahaha they just had their hearts ripped out.

I'm crossing my fingers for TCU to leap them. If the voters were smart, it would happen.

oh come on... no way... seriously? I mean absolutely respect the undefeated record... And really respect Patterson...
http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/ncf/ne ... id=4706555 he proved how smart he is with these comments, because, lets face it...The BCS really is the best chance for a team like TCU to win a national championship... NO chance a TCU/Boise St. could run through 3-4 rounds of, say USC/oregon/Ohio State/Alabama/UF for a national championship. Not just because of the physicality -- but just take a look at SEC teams records this year after playing UF/Bama...Even after close games teams got destroyed the next week because those type of games take so much out of you.
A win is a win but TCU has some very unimpressive wins vs. Clemson & Virginia... You think Texas would have had that close of a game with either of those teams? Or UF? Bama? But really Boise St. has a better argument considering the Oregon win... As good as Boise has been....they return an awful lot next year, might be the year that a non-bcs conference team gets it shot in the National Championship.

So, who should play Alabama in the BcS Championship game? Cinci, TCU, or Boisie St.?

John Kinkaid RIPPING Tebow on ESPN radio right now.
angry over the bible verses on eyeblack : "LOOK AT ME- LOOK AT ME" and thinks it oughta be banned by the NCAA
funny, he had no opinion on the DB who was suspended due to the DUI charge
didn't mention that one at all

The problem is you say this but because it doesn't exist, we can't know if you're right. I don't really
want TCU to win the championship necessarily, I would just like to not be left wondering if they could have if it weren't for a preseason poll (you know, the poll before any team has played anybody) determining how things ended.

ahhh, ok...I really had no idea, tbgbgbgbgb is the only poster I remember saying much about the gators....
ps...the hate for tebow has little to do with his faith and more to do with the media's love for him...or should I say espn's love for him...typically if espn pushes something down our throats people are going to begin to dislike that team or person...happens all the time
