I see where Weber State (7-4) got in. Were they the 16th seed (taking our place)?

Yeah... and I think they might have gotten in ahead of us anyways. Especially since they beat EWU head to head, and EWU made it.

Assuming Richmond and Appalachian St. both advance, could Appy possibly host a seeded team? Has a non-seeded team ever hosted a seeded team?

No... Richmond will host. They are seeded for a reason. They would have to relinquish the right to host, I guess, and I doubt they'd willingly go to the Rock.

Here it is for the rest of you that were too lazy to click the link. Like me.
I'm gonna look at the games and post my projection. Not that I'll feel any better about the playoffs.

Here's my pics. I could see 'Nova pulling it out, but if you have a gun to my head I pick Richmond. We'll see.

I think it'll be Richmond vs SIU with SIU winning it.

do you have SIU beating 'Nova?

I could see them beating W & M but not Villanova.

I have SIU beating anyone that they have to play. I think they should be the #1 seed.

The only positive that I see about Liberty not being in the playoffs is the impact on my personal budget. There is no way that I will miss the first LU playoff game and it would have cost a few thousand dollars.

I am taking a neutral approach to the playoffs. The greatest strength of FCS is the playoff. If a team can make it, they have the opportunity to advance on the field, regardless of their schedule or anyone's opinion about their ability to compete.

286 days to Flames 2010 kickoff.

After Liberty's loss, I know most stopped watching the other scores around the country, but did anyone follow the Eastern Washington / Northern Arizona game? NAU put up 747 yards of offense (574 passing / 173 rushing) and still got beat in a shootout. It seemed every time my computer refreshed, someone else had scored. There might be 100 points scored in the EWU/SFA game in Round 1.

Quarter finals: Montana vs. SFA, Richmond vs. SCState, Villanova vs. McNeese, SIU vs. W&M

Semis: Montana vs. SCState, McNeese vs. SIU

Finals: SCState vs. SIU

Champion: SIU

Obviously, I'm thinking SCState is going to be the underdog this year. The semifinal game will be a tight one. But I agree with SJ that SIU is going to be huge.

The great and mighty App St really needs to get the soccer team and what sort of looks like lacrosse, the heck off their field. ouch, and a track around it. I thought they were big time.

I knew someone would come on here and say something about that. They've always had them all together and they'll likely always have them together. In Boone, there is basically no flat ground. They have nowhere else to put their other sports. Unlike most schools, it's not a matter of money. App's not trying to do it the cheap way like say Gardner-Webb.

The jackrabbits scoring at will? Can't imagine what the atmosphere is like right now in Missoula.
