Lynchburg could bring home two XC National Championships

If Chalenga wins the national title, the city of Lynchburg could be called the home of cross country championships as Lynchburg's Ricky Flynn won the championship today by an astounding 23 seconds.

That'd be nice for the burg. Wonder how much interest there would be in a head to head race between the two if Sam wins his own NC... just sayin. Might make life interesting : )

It wouldn't be very interesting unless Sammy took a page from the tortoise and the hare.

Ricky's accomplishment is outstanding. But Sam is world class right now.

Cider I couldnt run 10K even in good health at this point lol

I'm not really sure how I missed this thread. Anyway, there was a lot of talk this week in the running nerd community about how great the running is in Lynchburg. I have to agree.

On a side note, Mallet does have a point about XC being boring. Maybe he can overlay some audio of him telling his gripping fishing stories on the video of Sam crushing the best runners in the country. That would make it WAY better.
