Brian Kelly would be a GREAT choice SJ, but something tells me he will have better offers.

How much do you think it would take to tear Bobby Bentley away from his high school OC gig?

I don't know if they're soured on NFL guys but I think a former NFL head coach is the way to go these days if you can get one. Like nobody ever talks about Brian Billick. I know he's interested in coaching again. I don't know about college though.

As it is the running joke to mention my name with every potential coaching opening I will go on record and say I dont think even Id want that job at this point.

Have some pride in yourself Beej. Your coaching career is not a joke, you just need a serious resume builder.

Not Tommy. Terry has been doing a pretty good job at North Alabama (D-II, I actually didn't know he was coaching). Another option would be Tuberville, but I've heard he's interested in Louisville.

That's exactly to whom I was referring. He badly wanted the West Virginia job when Rodriguez left. I wouldn't be surprised if he expresses interest through the channels in the UVA position. But after how things went down at Auburn, any D-I - especially the type of people at UVA - would have to be leery of that possibility.

Those concerns don't exist as much on the D-II level. I wasn't aware he was there, either.

You can add Rich Rodriquez and Charlie Weis to the guys who are going to be looking for jobs soon.

Is RichRod really going to get the boot after just 2 seasons?!

Have you ever met a Michigan booster? The program has reached new depths.

They have been calling for his head for a few weeks now.

No matter who is calling for his firing - or for how long, TD - I just don't see how you can fire a guy with a very specific system that takes time to implement after just 2 seasons. All this despite the fact that I strongly dislike the man as a coach and for what he did to the people of West Virginia.

Incidentally Tuberville & the Brothers Bowden are the names being tossed about right now in Memphis as well.

Yea, the whole mountain state is MAD at him (except for the Marshall fans). 8)
