We'll admit it. This is just the latest - but it could be the greatest - high school football highlight this season.

You gotta see it!

Will Briscoe of Baton Rouge (La.) Central High completed a behind-the-back pass for a two-point conversion in a recent victory over Zachary.

The helmet of the Seneca Valley High School Screaming Eagles in Germantown, MD...the most storied high school football team in Maryland's public school leagues...the holder of a state record 12 state championships (3 which were won while I was a student there).

This just turned into the best thread ever. We had white face masks back when I was banging. Go Indians.

Actually, I take that back. We switched to black when I was a senior. Totally forgot about that. Good times.

The infamous Weaver Beavers. Our arch-rivals.

Yeah, my rival HS wasn't on there... nor were any of the other HS's in our district.

They were the pirates, Black and Red, used the ECU pirate. Very easy to make fun of.

Manchester? Admit it, you spent some Friday nights in Bolton doing some skating & then crossing the street to get some Munson's Chocolate.

My wife went to Parrish Hill, which did not have a football team. But, its in between Conventry & Willimantic....less than 30 mins from Manchester.

Bolton is lame. We actually lived in Coventry before Manchester, but LUconn won't remember those days.

I went to high schools in two states:

Phoenix: Portsmouth East is now called Sciotoville Community?

That was a fun trip down memory lane seeing all the rivals of my old schools. Helmets have improved dramatically from the last time I saw them nearly 30 years ago.

This school is a rival because we split with them in 99:

This school is a rival because they're so close and our football coaches came from there:

This school is becoming a rival because our football coaches hate each other:

that would be amazing. PCS is actually looking for a bid to State which is huge since its only a 3 year old program

That helmet looks nothing like what they wore when I was there. I am glad to see the finally got it together on that whole gold ≠ mustard yellow thing.
