....to Florida? Listening to ESPN radio this morning, they are talking about Florida being a 73 point favorite over CSU.

I gotta admit, I am taking Florida to cover.

They only have to score 11 touchdowns...or 3 per quarter...and CSU will not score.

I can't see them scoring 73. I'd imagine they will lay off pretty quickly.

I see Florida scoring in the 50's then that's when Urban Meyer will grab some fans out from the seats and have them play the last quarter.

Spurrier isn't in town anymore, so I don't see them going into the 70s.

CSU may be hopelessly outmatched in this game but there is no way UF beats them by 73. Bettors with common sense will either take UF for the straight up win or CSU to cover the spread.

I would give the 73. 81-6 or something like that.

There is no way that will happen... Beating anyone by 73 is hard, CSU isn't that bad and Florida will run a lot.

The thing about point spreads, is that they are not a predictor of a score, or how many more points a team will score. They are simply a way of evening out who is betting for whom. That's why they adjust them.

Who wins, CSU or UF? 100% of people bet on UF. OK, give CSU 50 points. 75% of the next betters put money on UF. Ok, spot CSU 75 points. 60% of the next round of betters put money on CSU, etc.

The offshore line on the game is down to 62, FWIW.
