I just can't stand to see a Hall of Famer go out in a bad light. I hope he does well, but I doubt it.

A source close to Brett Favre said the quarterback, pending a physical, will sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for between $10 million to $12 million, according to ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen

I don't know. It's kind of comical.

Yes it is. If I'm Sage Rosenfels, I'm not a happy camper right now.

Dear Brett, go away!

Come on, like Rosenfels has anything to complain about. He knew this would happen all along, and he was brought in to be a backup, which is basically what he's been his whole career.

It looks bad on Favre's part, but who cares, the team wanted him (including his potential teammates), and he's gotta make the decision based on what's best for him, just like anyone else.

I won't have any problems taking Favre on my fantasy team if he's available.

Something tells me he's all yours in the 1st no matter where you're picking.

I just think it's funny how pathetic the Vikes look in all this. At one point they gave him a deadline because they needed an answer so they could move on. But now a month later after they've moved on, HE makes the decision. I think it's pretty obvious that he just didn't want to put up with training camp. Hopefully 0 of their passing game is based on timing.

Sage just got a great deal--and now he's got to sit there and hold a clipboard while he collects millions.

Bah. I just saw a commercial for the first NFL sunday on Fox and they talked about the Viking debut for Favre being the national game. I totally forgot that we pretty much had to watch the Jets every week last year. I bet it happens again this year. Hopefully they play a lot of games at the same time as the Redskins so we don't have to put up with Favrevision.

Because the Redskins play great football.
