Wow. Simply amazing. Bolt lives up to his name...

(my favorite Tyson Gay story: he set a world record last year, and the news report of the event had the headline 'Gay sets World Record in 100m dash'... unfortunately, some Christian website (I think it was the Baptist Press) had a filter on its news stories, so its headline read 'Homosexual sets World Record in 100m dash'

I am really looking forward to the day Bolt gets nailed for drugs. I spend a lot of time watching people run and that dude looks a lot like Marion Jones (all sorts of things to take from that line). It is just a matter of time until his chemist blows it before a big meet.

Simply the fact that he is shattering these world records with such ease is a MAJOR tipoff that he has to be cheating somehow. But he's managed to survive the tests thus far.

Yeah i think he is clean...i mean heck these athletes are stalked and all there mail is practically public knowledge. The more this guy wins the more people are going to go thru his hotel rooms like lance armstrong when he checks out. You gotta give the benefit of the doubt until they test positive, and with Marion Jones people weren't watching what kind of things she was being mailed or sent until late in her career.

And if Bolt is dirty, why would you think that Gay isn't?

I think 01 and the rest of the running world wants him to be dirty because he's so cocky. I mean the dude stopped running like 10m early in the olympics to celebrate and still demolished the field. I can see how he's somewhat unlikeable. But from what I understand, he's basically the only tall sprinter. How could you determine anything from watching how he runs?

Is every athlete who does something great going to be accused of cheating from now on?

It's not that I want him to be dirty, it's that the numbers are INCREDIBLY staggering for Bolt. It took him just over 2 years to drop a half second in the 100m. That probably doesn't sound like a lot, but to put it in perspective, Tyson Gay has been one of the most consistent sprinters over the past 4 years and he has only managed to drop .2 seconds over that time period. Throw in the fact that Bolt's entire training group has made very similar improvements over the same period of time, and you have yourself something to seriously take a look at.

Non-runner translation: He (and all of his training partners) went from being Jason Campbell to Tom Brady (2007) in 2 years.

Bolt just broke the 200m world record by .11. The guy should know that he should ease off a little so it isn't 100% obvious that he is a doped to the gills.

They should hire his chemist to find a cure for cancer.

If Usain Bolt is doping as you so charge 01 (yeah I know you said in the post above you dont want him to be dirty and the man hasnt failed any drug tests that we know of) I think that will be a major black eye for track and field.
