For those that already get ESPN Magazine you can add a year for just $1. I just did it, 26 issues for just a buck.
www.espn.com/thanks
It's worth it.
****UPDATE**** Those who do not have ESPN magazine can get it for $2.97 a year

subscribing to espn the magazine also gives you access to espn insider. i don't even read the magazine, most of the time I just throw it away as soon as i get back inside from the mailbox, but i use insider on a daily basis.

I just subscribed last week. For a buck it is a steal.

I had such a bad experience with ESPN the Magazine.
Long story short, if some college-aged kid knocks on your door and tells you that they're selling magazines as part of a nationwide contest... Don't give them money.

Thanks for the link, HMO. It wouldn't work via Firefox (the rate was $26), so I went through IE and processed my order. The Magazine is good bathroom reading material but not much more. It's worth the subscription at normal price for the Insider articles. You definitely can't beat a year's subscription for $1.

Anyone know if it's auto-renew only? I'm too lazy to look. Sounds like a great deal, but don't want a $26 surprise on my credit card in a year.

It's auto-renew but I email and tell them not to renew it.
When you pay for your subscription by credit card, you will be enrolled in our automatic renewal program. Your subscription will continue without interruption so you won't miss a single issue. Just before your subscription term ends, we'll renew it for an additional term and charge your credit card the low magazine rate then in effect. Approximately 30 days before your account is charged you will receive an email detailing the impending charge and instructions on how to cancel. Should you wish to terminate your subscription before that time, you may email customer service at ESNcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com.

Thanks Adam. That's not too bad, at least they notify you before doing it. I can go with that.

No problem. This is the third time I've renewed using the link HMO provided. I can't believe they're still doing it for $1.

Where do you go to get them on the cheap like that? Is that just the renewal price?

With the invention of the tablet, magazines are becoming obsolete in paper form. I do love having the option to download any issue of Sports Illustrated and ESPN Magazine whenever I want. It's a nice perk during travel.

Just re-upped for another year. I don't even read the magazine, but there are some solid baseball writers behind the Insider paywall. Definitely worth my $1.

I only get it for ESPN Insider. I don't even read the magazine, just throw it in the trash when it arrives, unless it's the Body Issue.
