Cgnsidering all the talk we had at one point about VA public schools not playing VA private schools in football (in particular LCA) Im surprised that this hasnt generated any response from you guys

With all due respect, BJ, most college students and faculty aren't interested in high school football, unless our brothers or sons are playing. Still, I'm very glad to see LCA playing Gretna, though I haven't been to a high schol game since 1979.

maybe it was because chris thurman left as coach, and after winning two state titles the hawks could be down. who knows??

Even with Gretna losing Coach Thurman this isnt Dan River (or West Point for that matter) this is one of the better teams this side of the state of VA (and a two time state champ as smoothie so readily mentioned) I think this could be a good test for the Bulldogs early in the season
