If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Anyone following it any, or am I the only one? It just started yesterday, you'll have to pay $15 to watch all the games, but they do provide live stats, which in someways I prefer anyways. The talent level is noticeably better than the Orland league was, with most teams having their draft picks and several other players with NBA experience.

One of the biggest surprises after day 1 is that Ben McCauley from NC State was possibly the best player, finishing with 24 points (12-19 FGs) and 15 boards.

I'm actually going to watch it live this week. I have and old friend who works for the Memphis Grizzlies, and he is going to get us tickets to some of the games. It should be fun!

Sweet, one of ym friends is going to be out there for a few days - some company is paying to fly him out there for an interview, so he is just going to go a few days early and catch some of the games. Apparently it only costs 15 dollars for a whole day's ticket, that's a steal!

stephen curry is second in the league in scoring, but is shooting a dreadful 33% (11-13 on FTs, however) and not providing much of anything else, which is disappointing since he was considered a PG prospect. adam morrison is making a strong comeback after following up an injury plagued year with a year riding the bench in LA on the inactive roster for the playoffs, as he is leading the league in scoring with one game left to play on day 2.

to anyone actually able to attend any of the games, make sure to check out the golden state games if you can. you'll see why hte phoenix warriors were basically completely unwilling to include anthony randolph in any trade for amare stoudemire. this kid showed streaks of awesomeness in the regular season, but he is looking like by far and away the best talent in this vegas league.

Hasheem Thabeet has a LOT of work to do to stay in the nba. he's 7'3" and can't even rebound in the vegas summer league? it's not like the talent pool of centers is any good out there this year, and some of the guys playing center will probably never see a minute at center in the regular season.
