Columnist Peter Vescey's NBA sources indicate the Rockets are "leaning toward" trading Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks to the Suns for Leandro Barbosa and Amare Stoudemire.

I had read something about Rudy Gay to the Celtics. It is getting pretty circusy.

Stoudemire has been disgruntled in Phoenix for a while now, and ESPN's Ric Bucher reported on Thursday that he will indeed be traded. The Suns would acquire two solid young players in Landry and Brooks, while gaining financial flexibility with T-Mac's expiring $22 million contract. So far nothing is official, but stay tuned throughout what promises to be a hectic draft day. Jun. 25 - 12:22 pm et

The Suns and Rockets have denied that they've had discussions about a deal that would send Amare Stoudemire to the Rockets for a package that would include Tracy McGrady.
However, there is now talk about trading Ben Wallace to the Hornets for Tyson Chandler. The salaries work, and the Hornets could benefit financially if Wallace retires or is bought out, while the Suns would get a much-needed starting center.

Various sources are reporting that Vince Carter has been traded to the Orlando Magic for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee.
The Nets are expected to take SG Terrence Willams at No. 11, if he’s still available (which is who we have them taking in our mock draft). Once this deal becomes official, the Nets are going to have a ton of cap space next summer, while the Magic are going to look great with a starting five of Jameer Nelson, Carter, Hedo Turkoglu (if they re-sign him), Rashard Lewis and Dwight Howard. This summer is going to prove to be great for contending teams - talented players on the bad to mediocre teams are being traded for 10 cents on the dollar to cut payroll.

The Suns are in discussions with the Warriors to send Amare Stoudemire to Golden State for center Andris Biedrins and the No. 7 pick in Thursday's draft.
The Suns would also get another guy back in the deal, possibly Anthony Randolph, Brandan Wright or Marco Belinelli, to make the numbers work. However, we doubt that Randolph is going anywhere.

Anotehr magic-nets deal
Ryan Anderson has reportedly been traded to the Magic for their trade exception.
Anderson was up and down in his rookie season and will now be a role player for the Magic. The teams also swapped Vince Carter for Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee and Tony Battie in a second deal on Thursday.

Wow...great deal for the Magic.

Lee was going to be a good player but VC still has some gas in the tank and can help them win now.

Latest rumor is Ben Wallace to the Hornets for Tyson Chandler. Which would probably pave the way for Amare to the Rockets for TMac as been rumored.

i dont think amare for tmac is going to happen, i would not be surprised if tmac is traded, but i just cant see the suns getting rid of amare.

the wallace for chandler trade will let amare play a true pf role

i hope that more interesting things come up but not all at once, cause the rest of the offseason will be boring if everything happens now

exactly...I love football, but I just can't understand the obsession with the NFL draft. The NBA draft is much better in my opinion.

minor deal, but it could be telling with what the kings do with their first pick
The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to send Sergio Rodriguez and the 38th pick in this year's draft to the Sacramento Kings for the 31st pick, a league source told ESPN.com.

The move allows the Blazers to move up to 31st and get a player they coveted, likely Spain's Victor Claver.

The Blazers also have the 33rd pick, but Portland was concerned that the Washington Wizards might take the player they like at 32. For the Kings, the move gives them another point guard to help shore up their weakest position.

It almost seemed (just like every year) that whenever the commissioner or deputy commissioner came to the podium they had another trade to announce before they announced a draft pick. There were what 10-15 trades before the last pick and probably countless others that were in the works.
